Our Story

Evidence over everything.

Before becoming an MD, our founder, Dr. Adrian Bailey, spent years around beauty products and saw the same problems: weak ingredient stories, unnecessary additives, and products that felt irritating or underwhelming on real skin.

Niacinamide

A form of vitamin B3. Naturally associated with whole grains, legumes, and seeds. Cosmetic-grade niacinamide is synthesized for purity and consistency.

Why we chose it

Supports tone evenness, visible pore appearance, and a clearer-looking complexion.

Uneven tone, visible pores, dullness.

N-Acetyl Glucosamine structure
Crab shells and crustacean source for chitin

N-Acetyl Glucosamine

Traditionally derived from chitin, a natural polysaccharide found in crab and shrimp shells. Cosmetic-grade material may also be produced by fermentation.

Why we chose it

Pairs with niacinamide to support the look of dark spots and smoother-looking skin.

Hyaluronic acid structure
Fermentation and water-binding visual for hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in connective tissues and skin. It was historically isolated from rooster combs. Modern cosmetic-grade HA is usually made by fermentation.

Why we chose it

Binds water to hydrate, plump, and improve skin feel.

Dehydration, fine lines, loss of plumpness.

Glycerin structure
Plant oils such as olive oil, source of cosmetic glycerin

Glycerin

Naturally associated with plant oils such as olive, soybean, and coconut oils. Cosmetic glycerin is purified from plant-oil processing.

Humectant that draws moisture and supports a softer skin feel.

Panthenol structure
Avocado and whole grains, vitamin B5 food sources

Panthenol

Panthenol is the alcohol analogue of pantothenic acid, vitamin B5, a nutrient found naturally in whole grains, mushrooms, and avocado. The cosmetic form is synthesized for stability.

Why we chose it

Soothes, hydrates, and supports barrier comfort.

Ceramide NP structure
Rice and cereal grains associated with plant ceramide sources

Ceramide NP

Ceramides are natural skin lipids. Cosmetic-grade ceramides are usually bio-identical and produced from plant-derived lipid building blocks.
